EDITHMARCEL was founded in 2015 by Gianluca Ferracin and Andrea Masato, blending their backgrounds in Fashion Design and Architecture. The brand explores gender as a study of forms, volumes, and lengths, creating garments that suit both male and female bodies.
The debut collection was presented in the agender section "Open" at Pitti88 and was quickly recognized by the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, which selected EDITHMARCEL among 17 international emerging brands for the inaugural Fashion Hub Market at Milan Fashion Week in September 2015.
As part of the FashionLab project by UniCredit and CNMI, the brand benefited from acceleration programs and continuous support. In 2016, EDITHMARCEL was a finalist in Who Is On Next, the prestigious scouting project by Alta Roma and Vogue Italia, and showcased its Spring/Summer 2017 collection at Vogue Talents in Palazzo Morando, Milan.
With its unisex approach that fuses tailoring and activewear, EDITHMARCEL has become a staple at Milan Fashion Week, presenting collections over multiple seasons and distributing its designs worldwide.
